a. Needling discharge: The charged lithium battery is fed into the gap between the needling roller and the grooved roller through the feeder. It is squeezed by rotating. The steel needles attached to the needling rollers pierce into the inside of the battery, resulting in a short circuit of the positive and negative poles, thus releasing energy consumption and achieving the purpose of discharge. In addition, the gap between the two rollers can be adjusted to meet the discharge requirements of different types of lithium-ion batteries. This equipment is mainly used for 3C product batteries, such as soft pack and plastic hard shell batteries.

b. Roll-cutting discharge: The charged lithium batteries are evenly fed into the grooved rollers through the feeder, and rotated between the grooved rollers and the roll-cutting rollers. The blades attached to the rollers will cut the battery shell, resulting in a short circuit of the positive and negative terminals, thus releasing energy consumption and achieving the purpose of discharge. In addition, the gap between the two rollers can be adjusted to meet the discharge requirements of different types of lithium-ion batteries. This equipment is mainly designed for cylindrical lithium-ion batteries.
