In the sand production process, commonly employed equipment includes crushers and sand makers. Some crushers also perform shaping functions, while others can serve as sand makers. Examples include hammer crushers, impact crushers, and sand making machine. Clients may make comprehensive selections based on feed particle size, finished product size, site requirements, and investment budget. Sand-making crushers primarily process various ores, breaking large blocks into aggregates and sand of required specifications. They find extensive application across construction, cement, highway, metal mining, and hydropower sectors, meeting fundamental aggregate needs for diverse construction projects.
Feed Size: ≤1200mm Capacity: 30-1200 t/h
Suitable Materials: Medium-hard brittle materials such as limestone, dolomite, shale, gypsum ore, and coal gangue.
Performance characteristics: The heavy-duty hammer crusher directly reduces large rock blocks into smaller fragments. It accommodates exceptionally large feed sizes. Discharge particle size can be customised to client specifications. The finished material exhibits optimal composition and meets construction material standards and requirements. It achieves single-pass processing, eliminating the need for secondary crushing and thereby reducing investment costs. Note: This crusher is unsuitable for processing highly hard materials.

Heavy-Duty Hammer Crusher
Feed Size: 0-50mm Capacity: 70-640t/h
Suitable Materials: Limestone, river pebbles, bluestone, cobblestones, weathered sand, basalt, granite, quartz, diabase, etc.
Performance Features: The impact sand maker is a critical piece of equipment in manufactured sand production. Its crushing chamber employs a novel design process. It employs dual-mode rapid switching between stone-on-stone and stone-on-iron crushing. The machine delivers dual efficiency in both crushing and shaping, serving multiple functions. The finished product exhibits excellent particle shape with minimal needle-like or flaky particles. The entire unit can be equipped with maintenance arms for the boom, rotor, and bearing cylinder. Its auxiliary hydraulic jack facilitates raising the feed height for easier maintenance.

Impact Sand Making Machine
Feed Size: ≤1000mm Capacity: 60-700t/h
Suitable Materials: Limestone, granite, marble, basalt, iron ore, river pebbles, shale, lapis lazuli, coal, boulders, construction waste, etc.
Performance Features: The impact crusher enables rapid switching between coarse and medium-fine crushing by adjusting the impact frame’s mounting position. It offers high crushing efficiency, flexible output size adjustment, and extended service life. When processing construction waste, it effectively prevents rebar entanglement and controls lateral swing amplitude, thereby prolonging the lifespan of the machine body and composite springs.

Impact Crusher
In these aspects, the impact sand-making machine demonstrates superior performance. The finished material exhibits no needle-like or flaky shapes, nor fine cracks. The fineness modulus can be adjusted according to different user requirements for the finished material. Material processed by sand-making machines can meet Class I construction sand requirements. Composite and fine-crushing machines follow, achieving Class II and III construction sand standards respectively. Note that variations exist based on raw material conditions, including: clay content, moisture content, density requirements, compressive strength, particle gradation, stone powder content, crushing value, and sand water absorption rate. These meet concrete sand standards.
In terms of overall yield rate, the impact sand-making machine demonstrates relatively higher efficiency. However, yield rate correlates with raw material hardness, typically ranging between 80-90%. Comparing the three sand-making crushers above reveals significant performance variations. All produce excellent particle shape and meet corresponding standards. When selecting equipment, users should comprehensively evaluate factors including investment costs and operational expenses.
