The scrap cable and wire recycling machine is a piece of equipment designed for the shredding and recycling of waste cables and wires. It addresses issues such as low efficiency in the bulk recycling of various complex types of mixed wires, copper-plastic wires and automotive wiring, as well as poor cable recycling results. The entire system features an integrated design. This recycling machine is particularly well-suited to small-scale processing and recycling stations. Its components are arranged in a logical layout and secured to a single integrated base. This ensures the equipment’s operational efficiency and stability, whilst maintaining its load-bearing capacity. We employ an advanced feeding conveyor system to ensure uniform feeding and discharge.  

 

New Type of Cable Wire Recycling Machine

 

After waste cables are shredded by a blade-type shredder, the plastic and copper particles are conveyed via a feed conveyor to a gravity separator. Through the combined action of air suction and the vibration of the vibrating screen, the copper particles and plastic are separated and discharged through different outlets. The frequency and amplitude of the vibrating screen can be adjusted to control the speed of the vibration, depending on the specific conditions and characteristics of the raw materials. The volume of the negative pressure airflow is controlled by a regulating valve. This waste cable and wire recycling machine offers high separation efficiency and a high recovery rate. It enables the complete separation of metals from waste cables and wires. The sorted raw materials, such as copper granules and plastic, are then fed into production processes.

It can process all types of scrap cables and wires, including cables, wires, network cables, electrical plug leads, automotive wiring harnesses, telecommunications cables, power cables, online cables, square-section cables and headphone cables, with wire diameters ranging from 0.5 mm to 20 mm.

  8. Equipped with a pulse dust collection system, it offers strong environmental performance and prevents secondary pollution.
  9. The crusher blades are arranged in an alternating staggered pattern. The rotational speed is high. It offers fast processing, low noise levels and simple operation.

Technological Process

  1. If the material is too large, it must first be shredded into small pieces of 1–2 cm using a shredder.
  2. The shredded wire scraps are then processed in a secondary high-speed pulveriser to rapidly break them down into granules, separating the metal from the insulation.
  3. The shredded material is then conveyed by negative-pressure air flow into a gravity separator. Copper and other materials are separated based on differences in weight and density.
  4. The remaining shredded material is then passed through a high-voltage electrostatic separator for precise separation, separating residual metals from non-metals.
  5. The plastic fragments are then screened by a vibrating screen to separate plastics of different sizes.
  6. The entire system is equipped with dust collection devices. Dust is purified using cyclone separators and pulse-jet dust collectors, enhancing the system’s environmental performance.
  7. The system is fitted with a PLC-based intelligent control system. The compact design allows it to process wires and cables of various specifications and materials.
